Dr Marjan Micev, a pathologist, and subspecialist in clinical pathology focuses on the field of gastrointestinal pathology and works in the Histopathology Clinic of the University Clinical Centre of Serbia in Belgrade. Following his postgraduate studies in Belgrade as an assistant associate at the Institute for Medical Research of the University of Belgrade and as a Ministry of Health and Science of Serbia scholarship holder, he attended various pathology courses and was on a scholarship for further training in gastrointestinal pathology in the Netherlands, France, and Great Britain. Professionally, he worked as a senior research associate at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Belgrade, a visiting professor of gastrointestinal pathology at the University of Belgrade, and the president of the Republican Expert Commission for Pathology and Cytology of the Ministry of Health of Serbia. He is a member of various domestic and international organisations.
Dr Micev’s clinical and scientific interests are related to gastrointestinal histopathology.
