Dr Milica Terzić is a specialist in anaesthesia with resuscitation, having graduated from the Medical Faculty of the University of Belgrade in 2000. In 2003, she defended her master’s thesis at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Belgrade. Over the course of her 20-year medical career, she has worked at the anaesthesia department of the Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases, the anaesthesia service of the Clinic for Vascular Surgery, and the Clinic for Cardiac Surgery of the Clinical Centre of Serbia.
She is a collaborator on the scientific project “Regulatory Peptides in Integrative Processes of the Nervous and Endocrine System”, financed by the Ministry of Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia. Additionally, she is an external associate of the Institute for Biological Research Siniša Stanković and has participated in continuous education both in the country and abroad, including “Advance Monitoring in Cardiovascular Anaesthesia and ICU”.
Currently, Dr Terzić is employed at the Euromedik General Hospital as a specialist in anaesthesiology and resuscitation.
Dr Milica Terzić’s professional and scientific interests encompass several areas. These include managing anaesthesia during operations and diagnostic procedures, monitoring and treating patients in the intensive care unit, and resuscitating patients who are critically ill. In addition, she is interested in diagnostic and therapeutic invasive and non-invasive procedures within the fields of anaesthesiology, resuscitation, and intensive care. Her expertise covers various procedures, such as TE echocardiography, laryngoscopy, bronchoscopy, percutaneous tracheostomies, securing IV lines, arterial cannulation, PA catheterization, all types of hemodynamic monitoring, temporary pacemaker placement, dialysis catheter placement, all types of feeding tube placement, as well as regional anaesthesia and analgesia techniques and pain management.
