Nikola Panić, MD, PhD

Biography

Dr Nikola Panić is a gastroenterohepatologist, employed at the Endoscopy and Medical Oncology Service of KBC Dr Dragiša Mišović in Dedinje. In his regular clinical practice, he performs interventional endoscopic treatments on the pancreaticobiliary system, as well as the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2009 from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Belgrade, with a grade point average of 9.42. He completed his internal medicine subspecialisation in 2018 and his gastroenterohepatology subspecialisation in 2020. In 2017, he earned his doctoral dissertation at the University of Belgrade’s Faculty of Medicine. He has been working as a clinical assistant at the Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, since 2018. He received interventional endoscopic training at the European Endoscopic Training Centre at the Gemelli Polyclinic in Rome, the Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm, and centres in Barcelona, Udine, and Olbia.

Dr Panić’s areas of scientific and professional interest include interventional endoscopic procedures related to the pancreaticobiliary system, interventional procedures related to the upper parts of the gastrointestinal tract and interventional procedures on the lower parts of the gastrointestinal tract.
