Biography

Dr Aleksandar Bogdanović is an abdominal surgeon who works at the University Clinical Centre of Serbia’s First Surgical Clinic. He performs liver, pancreas, and biliary tract surgery. In 2007, he received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Belgrade. In 2017, he completed his abdominal surgery residency at the First Surgical Clinic of the University Clinical Centre of Serbia. Dr Bogdanović’s scientific and research work focuses on the liver and pancreatic surgery. In 2018, he was appointed as a Clinical Assistant at the Faculty of Medicine’s Department of Surgery and Anaesthesiology.

Dr Aleksandar Bogdanović’s scientific and clinical interests include the molecular and genetic basis of malignant tumours, translational medicine, surgery for benign and malignant conditions of the liver, bile duct, and pancreas, and minimally invasive digestive surgery.
